The new brand identity provides Insta with new messaging, new slogan, and a new visual appearance. Our new slogan Decisive Impact explains what Insta’s expertise, products, and services make possible.
Safety and security, comprehensiveness and constant motion
As a result of the brand refresh, a culture of safety, comprehensive in-depth expertise and constant motion were identified as Insta’s unique success factors.
– Constant motion describes our ability to find the correct solutions together with our customers, while new innovations and continuous development also speak of our courage to open doors towards entirely new business opportunities in the coming years, Tapio Kolunsarka says.
For this technology company engaging in sustainable business, 2025 is looking highly promising. Growth will continue, and the aim is to hire close to 100 new Insta team members in order to ensure the company’s growth, constant motion and creative and reliable solutions. As part of the new brand appearance, Insta also received its own design language that is based around the circle and column in the logo. Insta’s logo also evolved with the project; its appearance is now more balanced and it suits the brand better, with an emphasis on reliability. The design language of the new logo was fine-tuned to match the image of Insta as a trusted provider of critical solutions that is in touch with the times and looks forward.
- We are strongly involved in ensuring and creating future security for people’s daily lives. When society and everyday life are running well, we have succeeded in our work. This requires continuous learning and the courage to apply what is new so that the things that we all value would be preserved and grow, says Niklas Mattsson, the vice chairman for Insta’s Board of Directors and one of the main owners in the family company.
The brand update applies to the entire Insta group, and the various elements will be taken into use in stages during 2025. The new brand will be visible in all of the company’s materials, communications, and products.

Insta – Decisive Impact
In 1960, Finn Mattson and his partners set up the company Automatiikka-Asentajat Mattsson & K:nit in a basement on Sammonkatu, Tampere. It specialized in industrial instrument installation.
The name was later changed to Instrumentointi Oy and then to Insta Group Oy in 2006.
The company has transformed from a small company specializing in automation installation to a group of more than one thousand employees that is rapidly internationalizing and developing and utilizing state-of-the-art technology.
The company has four business areas: industry, defence, cyber security, and software consulting.
Insta is a strategic partner to the Finnish Defence Forces.
Insta’s cyber security products and expertise are already being utilized in more than 50 countries.
Thanks to systems related to water supply, millions of Finns can enjoy the world’s purest drinking water and even wastewater is routed to the correct location.
Insta has installed a length of electrical and instrumentation cables that would reach around the world two times, approximately 80,000 km in total.
The family company Insta owns 37% of the company Millog, which safeguards the critical security of supply.
The year 2023 was the 13th consecutive year of growth for Insta. The net sales of this growth company reached EUR 173.9 million and it employed approximately 1,200 people.
